last week we learnt that some of the reasons why
God shut the door of the ark at different places in our
life’s sometimes is because
o Preserve; for as better tomorrow
o protect; wrong friends, choices
o increase your faith; trust Him
o
TWO THINGS THAT HAPPENED AFTER THE LORD
SHUT THE DOOR OF THE ARK WAS
1. THE WATERS AROSE:
Sometimes we think when God shuts the door, He’s
going to pour blessings on us, BUT in Noah’s time the
first thing that happened we read was that there was
Chaos all around them
For 40 days and 40 nights it rained heavily upon the
earth, the waters increased, everything got destroyed.
Covered the mountains, valleys [homes, cars,
savings, etc etc,] Thank God because YOU MAY
HAVE LOST SOMETHING BUT YOU HAVENT LOST
IT ALL. THE RAINS OF LIFE CAME DOWN BUT
YOU STILL HAVE YOUR WITS ABOUT YOU.
The bible says that, the fountain of the deep was
broken and water was everywhere drowning
everything around him. Vrs 17-18 continues to say
that “ and the waters prevailed, the waters prevailed
exceedingly and covered the face of the earth” they
had no control over it , even if they could; don’t we
sometimes feel that way? You know what to do but
nothing you do changes the situation.
a. Noah and his family felt the rocking of the roaring
waters, they heard the splashing of the waters,
maybe even the cries of the people but they
couldn’t see what was happening BECAUSE
THE LORD HAS SHUT THE DOOR .
b. SOMETIMES HE DOESN’T MAKE YOU SEE
WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH YOUR NATURAL
EYES, BUT YOU FEEL/ SENSE IT BECAUSE
AT THE END OF THE DAY IF YOU STAY PUT!!
AND DON’T JUMP OUT OF THE BOAT, YOU
WILL LAND SAFELY.
i. That boat is your place in God
ii. That boat is your church
iii. That boat is Jesus

c. Back in the day in Africa, there use to be car
made solely of wood, riding over a street full of
pot holes; people called it BONE SHAKER and
when you sit in that car its between you and God;
[ this generation may not know what I’m talking
about ; woe betides you not to hold on to
something, one pothole will through you out of
the van] but if the driver is good then regardless
of the rocking you will land safe at your
destination. That is what He promised us.
d.
e. Ps 46:3-5 -though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though
the mountains shake with the swelling thereof Selah; there is a river, the
streams make glad the city of God…… God is in the midst of her; she shall
not be moved
i. You and I may not be in a boat like
Noah but when life put you in places that you
can’t understand; STAY CALM. – being calm
doesn’t mean you accept the situation but it
gives you the opportunity to think through the
situation, hear God speak to you and make
good decisions. And so Find a place in your
home, or in your heart where you can spend
time to commune with God
ii. the waters prevailed Ps 34:6 this poor
man cried unto the Lord and He heard him
iii.
- LIFTED THE SHIP
a. There is a lifting coming to someone
b. YOU SEE! The shutting of the door is a set up for
your LIFTING- say Amen
Church the good news of God still remains,
GOD KEPT THE BOAT AFLOAT- God bare the ARK
and it was LIFTED UP ABOVE THE EARTH.
Ps 91 :11-12 he shall give His angels charge over you,
to keep you in all your ways. They shall BEAR THEE
UP IN THEIR HANDS lest thou dash thy foot against
a stone. hallelujah
No matter what is happening around us now, No
matter what we are going through right now as a
church; One thing is certain that.
Your boat will not sink, God will keep you on top of
every situation. Say amen
In 2021, you shall be lifted above every storm
that comes around you AMEN
Behind the close ark is where the POWER of God
is made manifest-
Maybe you say, pastor Mina If it is so why did we lose
our dear Man of God The answer is this; Past Victor,
is a man of God, he lived for Him till his last day on
earth and so even though he is absent in the flesh but
in the spirit he is living on. Mk 5:41 Jesus stood by the
dead body of a young lady whom everyone said she
was dead. He told them she is not dead, she is
asleep. Bible says and they laughed at him because
they know she was dead. But to prove what He was
saying, He called to her and said little girl arise and
bible says the one who was dead came back to life.
And so on that day when the trumpet shall sound we
shall see pastor Victor again. I spoke with Josh the
other day and he said something profound; he said
now that his dad is no longer in the flesh, he knows
that every where he goes, the spirit of his dad is there
with him. He doesn’t have to go to family home to
visit, he’s with him everywhere
May every dry bones come back to life in Jesus name
Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
o SAY TO YOURSELF NO MATTER WHAT
HAPPENS, MY boat will not sink
He didn’t say that storms will not come, He didn’t say
that rain will not come down on your party, BUT even
when it feels like everything is getting out of hand, He
will bare you up. HALLELUJAH
HIS COVERING WILL KEEP YOU AFLOAT
HIS GRACE WILL OVERSHADOW YOU
The HIGHER THE WATERS; THE HIGHER YOUR
LIFTING
THE BIGGER THE CHALLENGE; THE GREATER YOUR
TESTIMONY
THE MORE COMPLEX YOUR TROUBLES ARE; THE
BIGGER YOUR BREAKTHROUGH

AT THE RIGHT HAND , IT SHALL NOT COME NEAR

TWO things you can do to stay on top of the
- Hook your Anchor to the Rock
a. Preparing you for a fresh start/new page
i. Air feels fresh and clean- gain wisdom
ii. Hold unto Him
b. even the weight of everything on the boat was
not able to sink the boat because it is anchored
to the rock
c. helps the boat to stay at one place even when it
is rocked
i. that rock is Jesus
- the storm is for cleansing, remove anything that
needs to be removed
d. During this time FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS
MOST; FORGIVE if you need to; someone said,
Let the main thing be the main thing
e. A TIME TO PUT SELF DOWN & LET GOD
REIGN
Jesus was in the boat with His disciples, and the storm
came while He was sleeping. They asked Him master
don’t you care that we are perishing? But he woked up
and rebuked the wind, and everything was quiet. Today
we quiet every storm in your life in Jesus name
May the same grace that came upon Noah, rest upon us
all
